Crumpled wad of paper = grenade?
By the way, feel free to contribute more experiments. I daresay it'd be quite interesting to see what could happen if a sheet of this paper was folded into…say…a representation of a cell phone? Or a representation of a CD? The possibilities are nearly endless!
I was going to add in a comment testing SCP-445 in conjunction with SCP-085, and seeing whether SCP-073's plant-destroying ability would cause a sample of SCP-445 to deteriorate, but I was told I couldn't edit the page. Has it been locked, or am I making a newbie mistake?
Apparently not. I created an account, and clicked on the "join" link, but it told me I had already sent a join request to the admins … is there something else I need to do?
Wait for an admin to accept you.
Admin, SCP Wiki
Maybe add an addendum testing whether this SCP is related to the paper used in th cups dispensed by SCP-294?
I up-voted this specifically because of the dead-sexy paper boat experiment.
Wow. I just read the part with SCP-445-α. To think, something I intended to represent childlike whimsy could become so devilish and, well, evil.
I like it.
I'm glad you approve. :-)
That bit about Cain destroying any plant product he came in contact with, including paper, caught my eye when I read his description, but I figured that the Wonder Paper was made of sterner stuff, and would probably react oddly with him if the two came in contact. I also figured that, if Cain's touch didn't destroy the paper, it would probably corrupt it.
I really like this one.
The paper boat/hat was hilarious, as was the mini-682.
Some test ideas : a paper plane labeled "Blue Angels" on the side that emits a tiny smoke trail behind it and flies loops, aerial tricks, etc
one of those fortune teller things that gives generic predictions that come true (Ex: you will meet a mysterious stranger, there is sadness in your future, etc)
writing letters to other people on it that a) teleport to the recipients mailbox and b) read themselves in the writer's voice
when rolled into a tight tube with a wad of regular paper in it: a blowgun that shoots extremely sharp paper darts, coated with an unknown poison that paralyzes
You can corrupt those with Cain if you choose.
By the way, do you guys think there should be an experiment log for this?
No, no experiment log, as I don't think this list will get that long. No longer than SCP-294 will get anyways.
Also, I had an idea or two for this too:
Bow tie: Subject appears to others as bland and boring, with viewers only recalling the subject when mentioned by a third party.
Name-tag: Folded into eights, and tucked into shirt pocket with a name facing outwards. All viewers referred to subject by the name given by the name-tag. When removed, all viewer who knew subject's name before testing reverted back, while all other viewers continued to refer to subject by the testing name.
