This situation has only been made worse with the addition of yet more bees!

After an… interesting start to Corpsecon, I finally have an article that I'm proud to enter. The development of this article also coincided with a completely separate joke about bees that managed to worm its way in here, so that's fun as well. Thanks to ch00bakka for giving me such amazing conprocs, especially after what I received before.

All three quotes were created and modified from existing sections of religious texts (as attributed in the article) and are public domain

Huge thanks to spicaterrible, Aethris, Elunerazim, Yossipossi, and AbsentmindedNihilist for critting this, and cheers to my first Thaumiel.

Nice! This is much cooler than anything I thought someone might do with my conprocs. What if bees were thaumiel?

You can only begin to imagine how many articles involving bees exist, but this one has a sweet twist thats put it up there with the best ones <3
I was very pleasantly surprised to have this come across my view, lovely work Bread, cant wait to see what you have planned next

I've been meaning to read this one for a while, and it didn't disappoint. A stylistic nitpick of mine is that the author page link ruins the immersion for me a little bit, as well as the second rating module, but do with that what you will.

Personally I put the second rating module because I usually use the Rate option at the bottom of the page if the article is of moderately length. Also I'm happy you enjoyed the article.

2/10, 40% of the sentences did not consist of "A AMOEBA AND AN WORM ARE DRINKING THE BLACK SALT'S SPIRIT IN THE STOMACH OF THE CRANE". Literally unreadable.

(As mentioned, I headcanon that Marcus Ambrose has two sons who go on to find out about the honey and get fixated with Anomalous Foodstuffs. Thus is borne Ambrose Restaurants, the best GoI on the entire wiki)

MDV-HIVE is an repurposed mobile deployment vehicle outfitted with several mobile apiaries capable of supporting 15 separate hives of SCP-5993.

How does this work if the bees die if kept outside the body hive too long? It also seems that their population growth would be very low if the only thing they can eat is each other.

This is very well done. I particularly like the mildly-altered but a propos scriptural quotations, the use of the Akiva radiation concept that I made up, and the clever use of the name "Marcus Ambrose" (which I assume you derived from "mar" (meaning "to harvest") and "ambrosia" (the food of the gods).

One minor quibble, which doesn't detract from my +1, is that it's a bit weird to keep an active hive of live bees in "a refrigerated high-value object storage locker."

I'm glad you enjoyed it :)!

For the refrigerated storage locker, it was more in regards to the corpse that they reside in, so that it doesn't decompose and harm the hive while also not being completely frozen and harming the bees.

Also I'm happy that someone got the Ambrose meaning.

Really well done, only part I have trouble believing is that they replaced all the bee related passages in religious texts without supplementing with amnestics
