I've heard people say that God is the gift of desperation, and there's a lot to be said for having really reached a bottom where you've run out of any more good ideas or plans for everybody else's behavior; or how to save and fix and rescue; or just get out of a huge mess, possibly of your own creation.

This is far and away the most time I've ever spent on a single article. I started writing this when my grandmother passed away back in September and it means a lot to me, but obviously there's a lot going on here.
My sincerest thanks to everyone who read this - Kirby (especially Kirby), Tanhony, Yossi, Weizhong (though I posted this before hearing what he had to say about it so whoops), and others. Big shout out to Jaonhax for the use of his obfuscator and Woedenaz for tweaking it a bit so it'll work for this.
I've got other projects in the works, but I'm obviously not as productive as I used to be. I hope this means the stuff I do end up producing is of a higher quality. I hope you enjoy it.
