Thank you to everyone who looked this over in chat, and the people who've contributed something to this series; there have been a lot.

So, uh, what is this?

Experientially, it's a trip into something emotional (hopefully). Something that operates less in reality and more in metaphor. There is a semi-coherent narrative beneath all the reality-bending and conceptual manipulation, but maybe reading something for the plot was always overrated.

It's a story in four parts, finale pending. Thanks for bearing with me.

I can't in good conscience upvote a hub that doesn't clearly communicate what it is actually, y'know, for. Also your CSS choices here range from confusing to just bad - like making divs fade out on hover or cursors change a random fakeline div that isn't actually styled anywhere.

Thanks for pointing out the fakeline div thing; that was unsurprisingly an artifact from a previous draft of the hub.

We spoke briefly over SCPD but I want to address some of the other things you brought up:

I agree, series hubs which consist only of a couple links are fairly annoying. However, the monologue sufficiently communicates the style and setting of the articles in the series itself: semi-surreal writing set in a futuristic hellscape run by a near-omnipotent Foundation. That's what a hub should shoot for in my opinion.

I don't see the link backgrounds/borders fading as particularly distracting.

I'm super hyped for this. I've always wanted to write an insanely surreal sort of thing like this, and you've done it absolutely masterfully. Can't wait to see what else is in store.

Heck yeah! Afterlife Ophidion is one of my favorite Tales so it's awesome that we'll be getting to explore that world more.

This is hitting me in all the right ways

The title says it all. The pieces of this have me feeling things. I cannot wait for the next piece. Very well done with this hub.
