Woo-hoo! My first coauthorship!

This was a weird experience, and I won't bore you with the details. But it was a blast working with Toast here, and I think the resulting article was pretty fantastic!

I went through a lot of drafts, trying to keep the 194 slot, and so I feel like I should acknowledge all the critters who helped me on this journey: ihp, Cyvtsvi13, Cerastes, DrAkimoto, Gee0765, AbsentmindedNihilist, JakdragonX, barredowl, Popsioak, and probably a bunch others I've unfortunately forgotten.

But the most important thank you goes to CityToast, without whom this article never would have succeeded on the site, and who has been amazing to work with, both on this project and on other things.

The presentation makes reading this article way more tedious than it should be. The reader should not have to skip past the same top half of the article three times to get to the important bits.

There is no good reason for this to be so tedious to try and read, the offsets are totally unnecessary.

Regarding offsets

• Overall, I like them since it helps maintain the illusion that docs are always in flux.
• The following portions of text are where links to offsets can be found:
  • Addendum 194.E: Testing Logs
  • Addendum 194.E: Field Operations Log
  • Addendum 194.G: 194-LOC-A
• Of those, 194-LOC-A is my favorite since it was introduced back with fragment:scp-194-0. It's sad the other two didn't get that kind of treatment; they're never mentioned anywhere else in the report.
• I'd also include a final addendum (possibly "Addendum 194.H: Memorandum on Documentation") which just links here.

On Accessibility
I feel most of the readability problems can be solved by simply making the first four lines darkslategray, any new text and collapsibles in midnightblue, and everything else in black. Your end result will look something like this (assuming no other changes). This will train the eye to skip the parts the reader knows isn't important.

Mind you, this is assuming you feel the issue is worth addressing. I, myself, did not have an issue reading this at all, but I like to put forward potential solutions to problems if I can.

Misc.
I'm not sure I understood why it needed to be in reverse alphabetical order. SCP-194-Z could've just been SCP-194-1 without any significant change logistically speaking. Does -Z have some sort of importance?

Due to the effects of SCP-194-Z upon the SCP-194 designation, the acting documentation of SCP-194-Z is presented in the form of various addenda to the acting SCP-194 designation. Any secondary classifications are to be assigned in reverse alphabetical order (i.e. SCP-194-Z), and all addenda are to be designated alphabetically, rather than numerically (i.e. Addendum 194.A). This is to prevent conflict with documentation applied to the SCP-194 designation.

"Addendum 194.E: Hypothesized effects (audio transcript)" [final offset] could use a line break (and comma removal) to be:

Researcher Laura ██████, Regarding SCP-194.
The restructuring effects of the object appear to have caused a change in baseline reality configuration. SCP-194 appears otherwise unchanged, and its anomalous effects have returned to normal. I am currently researching what triggered the effect.

Otherwise, it's unclear whether Laura is being addressed or speaking.

Wall-o-text regarding confusion as to what the devil is going on here.

So, if I'm reading this correctly:
Garth the Creep goes to extraordinary lengths to not take no for an answer and ends up (deservedly) getting bashed upside the head by his creep target with a…something that was apparently classified as SCP-194.
This causes him to either A) be erased from reality, sans his mummified corpse and some recordings, B) have the aforementioned corpse and recordings sent to a universe where he did not previously exist, or C) both A and B.

So my question is…what is/was 194 originally?
Is/was it always random objects appearing in containment and now the objects showing up are somehow affected by Garth the Creep being bludgeoned with one of them (so they are "romantic" [like the rowboat] and/or the things he tried to steal)?
Was it always that set of objects and this is some sort of self-fulfilling prophecy?
Was it something else entirely and got changed by the events into its current state?
The Foundation must have been containing something under that classification, as the final debrief specifically mentions it as a discrete object that existed prior to the corpse being a corpse.

Also not getting why Laura is thrown off by the nameless interviewer saying "Thank you for your cooperation." at the end. Yeah, all the emails to Garth the Creep also ended with that, but would she even be aware of them, much less be weirded out? It's a fairly standard bureaucratic thing to say. Is it trying to imply that this was all some sort of set up by the powers that be?

No vote for now. Maybe I am just completely missing some sort of subtext, because it's just not clicking for me.

I have similar confusion to Hawkin - the "Thank you for your cooperation" bit is really ambiguous.

Re: accessibility, I do think that removing the 'click-through' on the 'offset' / further-in versions would probably be a good idea; it may help with the story feeling like it flows better, if there aren't as many hoops to jump through.

Excuse my blatant rudeness but i really hate this. The Containment Procedures and the Description are way too short (although that is just my own opinion) and the addendums are confusing as hell to read. Sorry.

I'd assumed she killed him with the current "194" object, and that had ramifications after it changed again.
