I feel like there could have been more development of the concept but it’s a fun idea and this entertained me quite a bit.
Whether you like it or not, history is on our side. We will bury you!
On one hand, it seems very uncharacteristic and risky of the Foundation to employ an anomalous animal that popped up on a site out of nowhere and let them on a demolition taskforce. On the other hand… it does sound like a lot of fun, so I can't help but want to read more.
Although, to me, the term "explosion magicks" sounds too much of a fantasy term for an SCP document. I'm not sure what would be a better term, though.
Thanks for the input! I definitely plan on writing a tale regarding is escapades with Psi-7, so watch out for that.
And yea, magicks does come across as a bit odd sounding but I couldn't find a better substitute, unfortunately.
My first thoughts upon finishing this article were: "Megumin 2.0". Except she's a male raccoon and doesn't faint after every spell.
Besides that though, short, but decent. Not the best I've seen, but definitely not the worst.
I should be disgusted about this. After all, this resembles what I perceive as bad children's TV: An only moderately balanced animal-shaped being throws explosions around itself basically for the fun of it (although, to be fair to him, he lets the Foundation channel his abilities and agrees to minimise collateral damage). Still, I am pleasantly entertained by the read of this. Ah well, there must be still something left of my inner adolescent, despite my almost 50 years. It figures that I am a fan of the original Mythbusters show.
The chant produced by SCP-5028 lasted eight minutes, a stark contrast to the previous tests, which had chants that lasted roughly two to three minutes
Let me guess, did it start with something like:
"Darkness blacker than black and darker than dark, I beseech thee, combine with my deep crimson. The time of awakening cometh. Justice, fallen upon the infallible boundary, appear now as an intangible distortion! Dance, Dance, Dance! I desire for my torrent of power a destructive force: a destructive force without equal! Return all creation to cinders, and come from the abyss!"
I love one so much. It's not some global, historical, cosmic threat. There's no O5-only secret logs. It's not uncontainable or unfathomably alien. It's pretty grounded, strange and fun, a huge breath of fresh air. I can't wait to see more from Azeban! I think my own SCP ideas would love him.

I wasn't sold on this one honestly. While the core anomaly, the raccoon itself, is cute and the setup is entertaining, it never actually goes anywhere. You set up the character in the interview log, but then we get hit with a bunch of testing logs that show nothing about his personality and only serve to show what we already know- that he can do explosion magic. You mention him joining an MTF, and we never get to actually see him in action. Likewise his backstory is never really explored- we have no idea what his act of treason was and we know very little about his home.
This could be really good, but right now it just isn't developed much. -1
