This one's my first officially uploaded idea onto the mainsite. Yes, it's been greenlighted; see the shoutouts. Same for critique (although I'll gladly take more!)
Edit: I confess. I self-tagged the page. I decided to do this after seeing that my article did not register in the system as an SCP, so I tried to fix that, as well as add in other tags to the best of my ability. Sorry if I messed it up.
Psst you forgot to change the all of the SCP-XXXX's to SCP-5701 (and same for all the PoI's and stuff too)
I feel like the main problem here is that another polaroid camera skip was posted very recently. On their own, both are good, however, yours being second really fast after the last one will make this difficult to succeed. Good luck man!

I'm afraid that, to me, the approach to clinical tone here oftentimes ends up feeling exaggerated, overly verbose, and confusing to read.
Here's an example of how a confusing paragraph might be simplified:
Original SCP-5701-# instances are any photographs created by SCP-5701. If any person, henceforth referred to as "subject," is photographed within an SCP-5701-# instance and later either do a present action that they regard as a "mistake" or have a noticeable regret of a past action, said SCP-5701-# instance will change to depict a scene of the subject making said mistake or regret. Additional specifics of the behavior of SCP-5701-# instances can be seen below:
Revised SCP-5701-# are photographs created by SCP-5701. If a human subject is photographed by SCP-5701, the next time the subject performs an action they regret or consider to be a mistake, the SCP-5701-# in which they were photographed will be altered to depict that event. Additional details of this phenomenon can be seen below:

Honestly, there were times where it felt like my "greatest weakness" would be resolved… and then it would happen again. I guess it's happening again.

I really liked this! I'm not sure why there's so many downvotes on this article, I personally think it was a good read. It kind of reminds me of a similar camera from the Goosebumps book "Say Cheese and Die," where the camera was actually the cause of the disasters. I'm not sure if that book inspired this or not, but regardless, it's a good article. Don't let those negative votes get you down! :)

This was actually inspired after I tried to write an article by starting with the fear of failure, then found out a camera would be neato. No Goosebumps here. But thanks for telling me about it!

This was a pretty good read. It wasn't anything groundbreaking, but it was still enjoyable enough. Unfortunately the point that really dipped for me was the interviews. They really didn't sound like foundation personnel talking and it felt really unprofessional. Other than that this was a solid read for me.
I heard that was one of my issues during crit, but it's hard to tell exactly where it is at any given time, and sometimes, it feels right but isn't. Could you help out and name a few examples?
Edit: Just figured I'd explain what I did and why if that's needed.
I don't know what MTFU Epsilon-6-13 did wrong. That felt as professional as possible.
Dr. Mason isn't interviewing; he's interrogating. He'll get harsh, but that's the point.
Dr. Dawkins is trying to get PoI-5701-3 to calm down. He needs to have a level of sympathy to keep him cool because a panic of any kind would just instantly shut the interview down.

Edit 2: So I made Dr. Mason a little less aggressive and more professional. Not much, but I figured I should just solve the problem for myself. Same with making Dr. Dawkins a little less attached. As for the remarks about his job… I figured they boosted the closing statement, so they'll stay in tact for now.
It’s been nice to see this rise out of the negatives. It’s not the most innovative concept for sure, but it’s a fun time, and a great first SCP.
I hope you take the criticism to heart and I am exited to see what you make next.

Nice job! Needed a bit of a break from all of the meta and crazy skips lately, so this is appreciated! One thing, I recommend changing the designation of 5701-# to 5701-1 to designate all photos created, and then 5701-1-# would be a specific photo. At least that's what I've seen from other writings. Keep it up! +1

I went with -# because that’s how most people designate separate instances, so I just kept it the same. The -1-# idea was still a good idea, though!
