I love epistolary fiction, collaborative works, and world-building. The Broken Masquerade canon is a goldmine for all of these.

The initial entries were written by myself, Lt Flops, IFBench, Westrin, and Deadly Bread. Now we are opening it for anyone else who wants to add to it.

Contributing rules:

• Keep the format epistolary.
• Entries must be at least 25 words long.
• Don't intentionally contradict established Broken Masquerade canon.
• When adding new entries, sort them chronologically.

I get that these are vignettes but they're much too short to really leave any lasting impact, especially when compared with similar vignette-based tales.

That pretty much sums up my thoughts. There is no "It’s another fucking eel." moment like in Operation Galahad — just a bunch of world-building.

Still, I'm interested in seeing if I can produce such a moment. We'll see!

OK, so I wanted to do this before the release, but well, you cannot always get what you want.

So, for explaining, I love collaborative works. I love music and I love rock-stars. So, I made a new snippet about some musicians and their "ties" with the abnormal world. And I also made a link with an excellent Explained SCP.

This is my first contribution ever to a page of the SCP Wiki, so I admit that I'm a bit stressed, I don't know if it will stay or no… but, in all cases, I hope that you will like it !

The non-serious answer : because I'm a devilish monster who wants to drink your tears and eradicate all joy in this Earth.

The serious answer : because the music and the art cover of the CD smells Serpent's Hand vibes. Like, too much. Plus, don't forget that in the segment, I suggest that the members of the band know the Library and the anomalous since their early years as a band (so, since the end of the eighties). Which means that, technically, you can associate every Radiohead record since "The Bends" with the Hand.

Yeah, except "Pablo Honey". Again, he's forever alone, poor CD.

I should give this a full listen, one of these days. Lotus Flower is one of my favourites. It creates a meditative and peaceful vibe super effectively and it's the sort of music I dig, these days.

(also, still proud of those snippets. If I end up not writing anything new, I will still point anyone to them and saying "Yeah, this was my peak")
