Never heard of the former and only have a vague idea of the latter, so those weren't in my mind when I created this. I just like tanks, heh. Good to see that it's gone over all right.

I like this one, especially the experiment log. It's too bad we never got to see how it reacted to that paradox.

If, by "that paradox," you mean where the two D-Class were cuffed together, and one was rigged with a bomb, I interpret the entry to indicate that the tank autonomously fired on the scientist giving the D-Class their instructions. I figure that not only fits its stated nature, but also adds an extra bit of creepy by suggesting that the tank is more intelligent than it's usually given credit for.

Reminds me of this short animation called "Testing site". The actual story the animation was based on is better, but there's no translation.
