This is what happens when you have nothing to listen to in the car except Kingston Trio because your radio is broken. In all honesty, this was me seeing if I could stick a bunch of disparate elements together- a corrupted Kingston Trio song, characters from my UIU series (yes, I will get back to that eventually, for the half of a person who actually read that), spatial fuckery, and the swamp. Plus, don't tell me "Neverglades" isn't a cool word. You are lying.

It took all the strength I had not to fall apart…er…something like that.

This speaks to me on the level of being an Ohioan with family in Florida. I mean, I read the first line of the description and went "Of course it is!" That said, my one complaint would be the containment procedures; they feel little OTT. I mean, everyone in the Foundation is inoculated against this type of amnestic?

Yeah, upon parsing that again, I should have been clearer. People who work with that amnestic on a regular basis are inoculated against it, in a way similar to allergy shots: small doses at a time until you build up a resistance against it. I'm going to rewrite the containment procedures within the next day or so, because a lot of complaints seem to come from there.

I totally dig this.

The details about how the living space lines up with the Everglades are great. There's always the risk of swamping the reader in minutiae, but the list of bullet points is the perfect length. It thoroughly develops the object without the reader becoming mired in information.

This article definitely deserves to be preserved as an example of a delightfully weird, spooky SCP object.

Also, I'm inherently partial to pieces with song lyrics in them.

I remember seeing this one! Overall, it's great; I particularly like how you had a footnote explaining the specific effects of the amnestic class — I'm quite partial to small details of that sort — and that you incorporated the UIU, as it seems that they don't show up in SCPs all that often, though maybe I've overlooked it.

I once did a roadtrip to "Live at the Roxy" by Frank Zappa. I understand.

It's spooky, creepy, dangerous and odd. I love it. The spiral expands slowly; first it's an odd house with an everglades problem, by the end it is something truly unique. It's even got a mystery hole!!

Alright. Got a few links here. First off, we can go ahead and link the first mention of the UIU to their hub page. Secondly, Agent MacAllister is a reference to Ihp's own UIU Series With No Name Hub, which can also be in-line linked too. As such, I am recommending the following edits:
