I think my reaction to this was most obvious on reading the following:
It was later concluded that the 5 individuals who were discovered near Site 119 were likely associated with the Chaos Insurgency.
This has been concluded to be a side effect of the magnet being substituted and replaced through several dimensions of space-time.
These two statements, at the end of their respective logs, tell me information that was not communicated through the observed logs themselves, without any evidence or justification, and seem to negate the purpose of the preceding logs at least to some extent. I enjoyed working out the password, and this is nicely presented, but too much of the writing felt as though it didn't contribute to the story and theme.
