Could examples of specific locations that have shifted in this SCP be given?
Actually, i was planning on that…was torn between adding it to the main article, which would make it very long, or creating a secondary log.
This is great. If these expansions ever happen, that would also be excellent.
Did it again Gears. I'd love to use this as a basis for a D20 Modern campaign.

The serial killer loose inside the dimensionally shifting facility is the icing on the cake. Reminds me of the movie Hypercube.
This really is good. The pictures could stand to be bigger, though, if only by a little.
if your reading this your gay
The number of times "appears to" or "appear" came up in the description slightly frustrated me. The phrase appeared three times in the same, small paragraph!
Unless this was a sort of joke about how locations appear inside it.
p.s. I'm now hungry for tapered, apple-like fruit.
This SCP reminds me of Submachine. Mostly due to the title "Nexus of Abandoned Places".
This also reminded me of Submachine, I'm thrilled that I'm not alone.
In Submachine Universe (previously Submachine Network Exploration Experience, there was a note that described a user-made theory, later debunked, that all of the Submachine rooms were places that were abandoned for long enough to be dragged into the Submachine. Here's a link to it.
I was under the impression there was a second theory about this, but I could not find it.
Man, does this bring back memories. +1
I love exploring abandoned places like this, and the pictures you've found for this are great. I'd love to know whereabouts they were taken, specifically the first two.
Great scp, +1 from me.
As much as I hate to criticize the work of one of the most well-known site Admins, I did have a couple of issues with this article.
My biggest issue is with the "[DATA EXPUNGED]"s in the special containment procedures - I thought that was supposed to be avoided?
My other issue is with the article feeling kind of rushed: things with a lot of potential to be expanded on - like the mysterious monster roaming the place - were just kind of mentioned in passing or tacked on at the end.
Don't get me wrong, I love the premise for this! I just feel like the execution is…lacking. I'm sorry. This is just the humble opinion of a mentally unstable noob who reads old articles.
Eh, it was posted in 2009. Different standards, and Gears, like a fine wine, method of torture, or serial killer, has gotten much better with age and experience.
