Wow.
Seriously?
Seriously?
No fucking kidding. It was the "hypersexuality" thing that drove the disturbing point home.
I think we can salvage this article by making the transformation an all or nothing thing (no anthro animals) and removing the whole hypersexuality thing and making it an animalistic behavior pattern appropriate for the animal in question. Seriously, what sense does it make for someone to put on fox pelts, turn into a carnivorous fox, and then wind up becoming a vegan?
I can understand where you're coming from, though I think you've misunderstood something- Only the mittens and shoes cause the veganism, and the reason I added the paranoia and hypersexuality was because I figured rabbits and elk, being prey animals, would be extremely paranoid (and I don't think I have to explain the hypersexuality part involved with the rabbit-skin mittens).
Perhaps I should add "mental degradation" to the list of symptoms and make the process more painful, to make it less desirable?
I'd go with making it completely undesirable.
1. Make the transformation all or nothing.
2. Subjects transformed by 801 are drawn to enter 800.
3. No fucking furries.
Alright, I'm re-writing it as we speak. The process is going to be quicker, more painful and with less emphasis on furriness.
I'm not so sure about the second suggestion though, since it would mean upon discovery, 800 would be absolutely stuffed with fur garments. I think I'd prefer it to be a mystery as to why only the 801 coats were inside.
Thanks! After writing my first two articles here, I was just on a roll and didn't really think ahead.
Both pages have been edited.
I think the idea is ok. I mean if furries didn't exist or we didn't know about them, the article wouldn't of gotten down rated, would it? I do find the whole thing too convenient though, like it could by used for fun or pleasure, and then after the furries were done with it they could just turn back into a human no harm done. Its not very scary when a SCPs sole express purpose could be to satisfy fetish fans. If you make the process horrifying and painful, then I think everything will be fixed and it will be fine.
SCP that could satisfy someone's strange urges= Bad
SCP that someone who has strange urges thinks could satisfy them, goes to use it, and then ends up on the ground convulsing in terror and madness, regretting the day they ever indulged the idea= Good
What happens if you wear one for four minutes, take them off, wait a long period of time, and put them back on for one minute?
Saevitia's edit here really turned this article around for me. Now that it's a standalone article not dependant on the shitty SCP-800, I like it. Upvoted.
Looks like the Factory might be at it again… Anyway, given I had a (correct, as it turned out) idea what this SCP did since the first sentence of the description, I am afraid it's -1 from me.
I'm guessing it's been since the posts on this discussion page were made that the effect of these things became irreversible. Or am I missing something? Either way, just one thing I feel needs to be pointed out: This SCP should be classified "Safe", not "Euclid" - as long as no one puts any of these articles of clothing on, nothing happens. Yes?

You can check older versions of existing articles by using the "History" link at the bottom of the page to view previous revisions.
Also, your point is valid. I believe this would be Safe.
Unless I'm seriously missing something, Safe sounds like the right answer.
ProfSnider is sometimes still around. Someone PM them and ask for permission.
I like the implication that the Foundation has a dry cleaner on site. I imagine the plastic covering having an foundation logo with 801 DO NOT WEAR on it. I also imagine the first time testing, when they took it to a local dry cleaner. "Today, a wolf was terrorized a local business." These thoughts amuse me.
I like to imagine that they outsource the dry cleaning to "laundry and tan by dado". XD
Did a small grammar cleanup, but there's some awkward sentence structure yet to be addressed ("resulting in expelling much blood from the body along with the newly grown hair," for instance.) This one could use a little polishing.
I thought it would be bad because of the ratings but I like this because of the fact that nobody would want the transformation even if they HAD the fetish.
