I'm proud of the hexadecimal designation, even if it makes it slightly harder to say out loud; we can assume by 2039 that the Foundation has gone through thousands of D-Class, and the need for an information-dense and human-readable representation of that would drive schemes such as this. Octal or a UUID-based system would work even better. There's a story to be written in a D-Class having a hash collision with another, deceased D-Class and being written up as an anomaly (much to their benefit).
