Storytime fellas.
The problem with working on something for three years: I've totally lost track of everyone who'se helped. I know the list would be very long.
To those of you who've played a part in this endeavour: Thank you. Thank you for giving me some of your time, however brief. Thank you for reading my drafts (especially when they weren't the best), or pointing me in the direction of resources, or directly helping me to fix coding.
Thank you.
I will, however, do my best to come up with a list, from what I recall and can find:
- Anaxagoras - at one point, the coding I was using was taken from SCP-2212.
- Randomini - I also stole coding from 2505.
- Eskobar, SirPudding - The CSS module used to change pages was taken from 1893/2111/2998.
- AJMansfield - directly helped with some of the code. None of it remains, but still.
- Decibelles, Roget, & thedeadlymoose - I distinctly have a note here saying, quote 'pivotal in progressive inspiration.' While I can't remember the specific feedback I got from each of you, I know for a fact you three played a huge role in making this article what it is now.
- DrMorris and famine_ - back in the coding times, I needed to hide a password. You two helped me.
- Some_Potato - also back in the coding age, greatly assisted in resolving bugs.
- djkaktus - encouraging me to keep trying, keep pushing forward.
- Greenwolf - gave me the coding for the redirect modules that I haven't ended up using. Still; thanks.
- Those damn four critters in chat two or three days ago who I now realise I've totally forgotten to write their names down, shoot, I'm so sorry!
- Rounderhouse - as below, provided the code to make the rating module green.
- woedenaz - reminding me to use fragment:, which is very important!
I would also like to make a special mention to TheSunnyClockwork. Back in April of 2016, I asked if they could do a little logo for me - something for the draft at the time ('Penrose Triangle'), but I wouldn't be able to pay for it. They did it anyway, and a couple of days later gave me this.
To date, it doesn't appear to have ever been posted on their art pages. Maybe they forgot about it; but I, for one, did not. For the aspiring author I was at the time, to have someone as talented as TheSunnyClockwork put some time into helping me, making something as beautiful as this - it was an immense honour. It still is.
EDIT, 27/03/2022: They did post it on one of their pages! Only took me several years to find.
So, now I've finished babbling on: thank you for taking time out of your day (or night) to read this. I hope it's as enjoyable to you as it was for me to write.
