Tres Magnifique.
It vaguely reminds me of that SCP with the food review format screw, but it is unique and can carry on its own. I would like to see how it reviews a larger variety of items.
Ah yes, I know what you're referring to. That's a mind-affecting skip that's a place setting, this is a washer that criticzes food on its own, except it's not actually food?
And then blogs about the "cuisine" it has consumed. What if one puts in it an article that is supposed to be dry-cleaned?
Depends on the type of clothing and the material made for it, but I can't imagine it'd be pleased nonetheless.
Hah, maybe. I did consider doing something involving that, but I couldn't get it to sound funny enough, and it hurt the flow of the skip, so I cut it.
Hmm, maybe some sort of "What is this? Some sort of weight-loss crap?" Pin it to a skippy version of Lean Cuisine or Weight Watchers…
I think it's okay. The concept is amusing, but it doesn't go anywhere besides that, although I suppose you could argue it doesn't really need to. The last addenda didn't add anything for me, but it also didn't subtract from the piece. Neutral vote.
Whether you like it or not, history is on our side. We will bury you!
I agree with this. It's cute, but it's… not interesting. You've put together two disparate concepts, and you've crafted something that is two disparate concepts. It's also a great barometer of the site's newer tendency towards the slightly silly "weird thing".
Edit: Not a huge thing, but it occurs to me that no one with a knowledge of internet protocol looked at this. There's not even a mention of trying to stop the washing machine other than just finding out that they can't edit posts.
Not quite sure what you're getting at, but deleting the blog or destroying the washing machine would be considered attempting to neutralize the SCP, as far as the Foundation is concerned.
Thank you to Zyn, TwistedGears, and Davsto for looking it over and pointing out stuff to fix (mainly Zyn for correcting my awful english). Thanks to Fae for looking at it and liking it. Thanks to TroyL for showing interest before my internet cut out right when I was about to link him to my sandbox. Thanks to ObserverSeptember for giving me a number when I asked "What's the first number that comes into your head when you think of a washing machine, that's not 001 - 2100?".
Any grammar or spelling mistakes that are obviously wrong, please go ahead and fix. That's always my policy, this is a wiki after all. If you're not sure, ask me.
I can't think of a title for this, so don't freak out over this being [ACCESS DENIED] yet!
Thank you!
*poke* I suggested the number. :P
To promote translations of my work and thank all the authors for their hard work, I am linking to them here in addition to my author page.
Thank you all!
Ohhh this one hits all the right notes for me. Sometimes I have a hard time reading decent new articles when I'm slogging through so many low effort attempts, but stuff like this makes it worth it. +1
I typically find that the more I write SCPs, the more I study ophite to learn how he makes magic.
