My third article, after Karma Kameleon and Stalled Conversation. This one is a bit more… heavy.

YOU WOULD DARE VIEW MY SPOILERS?

The foundation contain a Volcano God for 3/4ths of a century with organic food, until by accident this being gets a taste for junk food, and demands more. Over time, it gets bigger, lazier, and less threatening, until it's not even a true threat, so long as we keep giving it the "Couch Potato" containment regimen.

This was also my first foray with listpages, which alone makes it the most labor-intensive article I've written. It's also had the most reviews, revisions, and re-writes, but I think it was worth it!

FYI, the Pixabay image was uploaded there prior to January 9, 2019; which means it's actually public domain under a CC0 (because, given its upload date, those were the terms it was originally uploaded under.) I've tried to get the Pixabay people to make this a bit clearer on the image pages, but so far they've elected to falsely label the old images under the new license instead for some reason (even though they've recognized on the forum that it's technically inaccurate and the new license only actually applies to the newer uploads).

This is magnificent. As soon as I saw the increased size of the sphere in the second iteration, I had suspicions about where this was going, but the execution was far beyond what I expected. You got my vote on the first page, and I regret I couldn't give another for each addition.

This might be the funniest article I have ever read. Kinda scary at first, but once I caught on, it didn't fail to deliver at any point. I can easily see this becoming one of the top SCPs of the year.
