On the 26th of April, 1986, the impossible happens, and an equally unlikely alliance is forged from desperation and distrust. This is the first in our series, written by my partner Sterbai and myself.

Thank you first and foremost to Uncle Nicolini for creating this awesome new GRU-P GoI format. All the formatting and CSS comes from him. He, along with FloppyPhoenix does not match any existing user name, provided critique as well.

The combination of GoIs here is utterly bizarre and unprecedented, and yet it worked out pretty well. I look forward to the next article.

This was a really cool piece, using the Children of the Night in this way was interesting and executed well. I especially loved how the reader knows the true nature of SCP-1000 but the GRU-P scientists are only getting part of the picture.

Overall, strong +1. Wish more people would give this a read.

I rarely read and even more rarely comment on anything on this wiki anymore, but this is hands down excellent.

I love the graphical presentation that you have given to the GRU-P format, but more so than that, this article manages to perfectly fit both the spirit in which I've written FLY AGARIC as an example and the language I can see would be used. There may be little defects and stylistic choices here and there, but those don't matter - I love what you've done here, doubly so because hey, I remember when moose wrote those primates for the 1000 competition :P

Little note aside:

AK-1: How you and yours forget what is conveniently painful. We are the Yeren, those who your kin subjected to the day of flowers, those who shackled and culled us. There is little help you could render us. You have broken the shackles upon our minds, true; but everything else that was once ours is no more.

I can't help but wonder if the researcher might segue into how the Soviet people have themselves broken the shackles of history in the Great October Socialist Revolution and as such, it's not their interest to maintain sins of the past. Granted, scientists' personal beliefs in the late 80s might be all over the place, but on the other hand, it would definitely be one way to try and broach common ground with someone like the subject.
