This work represents my first attempt at a mainlister since series 2, and my first co-write. This was a lot of fun to put together, I'll be breaking it and the accompanying piece down on SCP Cafe soon. Thanks for reading.

It was really fun working with bluesoul on this, combining our ideas about computerized anomalies and inter-agency intrigue was really fun to work out. Hopefully others enjoy it as well!

Glad to see there are other people with similar interests working on computer-based SCPs. This is very well written, avoiding most of the pitfalls of computer/digital virus-based SCP listings (namely that their writers as a rule have no idea how computers or viruses actually function in real life) Though one would imagine that anti-memetic properties would lead to the complete failure of any attempt to decompile or reverse engineer it… Maybe GHIDRA (https://ghidra-sre.org/), being from the NSA, has hidden anti-thaumaturgic obfuscation countermeasures?

We sort of handwave that away in the UIU format that it's pretty well impossible to accurately decompile for laymen because their machine is also infected.

Do I understand correctly that the UIU engineered SCP-4406 in order to gain access to restricted Foundation files, Dr. Thompson helped obfuscate this, and the Neutralized classification is to ensure no further analysis occurs that might reveal SCP-4406 remains active? Nevermind, I found the explainer in the UIU file's forum.

I'll be honest, everything written by Dr. Thompson gives some big "'Not involved in human trafficking' T-shirt" vibes.
