Fuck yeah this is epic!
But why.
Like, don't get me wrong, it looks better than some of the eye-bleeding themes on this site, but what is this going to be used for?
Well, I know in the SCPD discord many ideas are being thrown around now as to things we could write and use this theme on.
So really, it's up for you to decide what it's gonna be used for.
(80's canon, perhaps?)
This was just the case of wanting to make a theme, so I did. It's the first time I've made a theme with no real intention behind it outside of just liking the look.
Like Ellie3 said, just sorta hoping this'll be a "if you build it, they will come" sort of thing. Or not! Who knows!
I respect making things for personal enjoyment, but without being contextualized by text the theme seems to clash a lot with the general character of the wiki. I would be into this when attached to a tale (or maybe an article) that was tonally aligned with it. Which is to say, loud in every meaning of the word. Hit me with that Hotline Foundation or something. Without that the theme feels out of place though.
I don't know, maybe I've got my priorities backwards.
I think the point is having options in case somebody is looking for an aesthetic that currently isn't available. Now that it's available, it may inspire people to do something with it.
Depriving us all of this because there's nothing written for it currently would be a sin.
This slaps. It'd clash terribly with most of my artwork, but I still want to use it for an art page.
