I love this thing. It's like the Imperial Emperor of anachronisms.
I like it except for the whole SCP space program thingy… is there any reason why you can't set it on Earth, instead?
Well, I wrote it out after Miono said something about using existing SCPs to explore space. The idea behind the SCP was that it was meant to go to the sun and negotiate an end to a drought that was happening during Shi Huang Ti's reign.
The original background writeup for this SCP is located here: http://www.fictionpress.com/s/2614424/1/SCP_Concept_001.

Wow, that's a pretty cool idea. You should consider incorporating it into some of the "historical records" bits of the SCP; it would add some much needed historical flavour beyond "Terra Cotta Space Zeppelin." Fantastic article overall.
Original and highly unusual, both good qualities in a SCP. One thing though; why's it Keter? They don't seem to be much of a threat to anything up there in space.
I mixed up the Euclid and Keter classifications in the initial write-up. I'll correct it in a bit, but there may be a chance I'll re-upgrade the rating depending on what my brain churns out.
This is interesting… But how does it make contact with Foundation personnel at all? It seems that to talk to the "officers" we'd have to physically board the SCP, and I don't see why we'd do that except to study it specifically, in which case I can't see an honest explanation of our mission going over very well.
Not to mention, how does the Contact Leader communicate with 580-02 inside a spacesuit? External speakers? They're in the vacuum of space! Though if they do board the SCP, maybe the inside is enclosed and contains an atmosphere…
Trippy as hell. If I ever form a band, a drawing of this will be the album cover. Additionally, what Date Rape Dave Rapp said.
I'm honestly surprised this isn't rated higher. I'm also fairly certain that it is constructed entirely of badass.
It uses the phrase "the SCP" too much, but dude. It's a zeppelin. In space.

Honestly, this thing has so mich "Wait, what?!" going for it, I'm not sure quite how I feel about it.
It does need some cleanup, in my opinion..
…manned by ancient living statues…
In my opinion, that makes it even cooler.

This is unusual as hell, and works well enough as it is, and therefore I have upvoted it.
The concept is rather cool, but IMHO the execution needs a lot of work. By way of example: what, exactly, is 580-02? What does "between the moon and the sun" mean? How is it possible to communicate with the golems in modern Mandarin?
+0 because I like the concept enough to be reluctant to downvote. Kind of makes me nostalgic for the dreadful "Amish space navy" story I wrote about 15 years ago.
I really like the idea, but the execution needs work. It just isn't all that exciting. You have all these procedures and precautions, with fairly good reason I suppose, but the SCP itself just doesn't feel like it lives up to those procedures. I guess realistically speaking the procedures are appropriate but I think the object needs to be a bit more…"thrilling".
