We know his first name - Adam - but what's his last name? Also, 001 (Dead Men) was used on the 05s so that they would be able to preserve that knowledge. When any member of the Foundation retires, they go through amnestic treatment to make them forget the Foundation entirely. So, if you want to preserve knowledge, don't retire.
*shrugs* I'm not trying to be real out there and shouty about it. Honestly, I really do write for the people who read and look for connections…
Also, can't tell if the comment was praising or not…

I still remember the first time I went to the SCP WMG page on TVtrope and found out someone had actually taken the time to extrapolate and put together the Bright family history. Super stoked when people realize what I'm building.

Like I say - very creepy.
I do note there's no mention of mom…
"If I die, I will die on my own terms, in my own bed, looking at a picture of my dear wife."
Granted, it's not a bountiful amount of information, but I think I remember learning somewhere that she became an O5 too.
In any case, it sounds like she's been gone a while.
She was three, before her accident.

Oh, Bright/Duckman's O5-13, with your temporal shenanigans. Keep an eye out on that one, fellas. He's a riley one.
I'm not really seeing the connection here to the other two "Resurrection" tales. It's good on its own, though, so +1.
It's a mirror to a tale not posted yet, actually.
*nod* *sniff* I do believe I scent the winds of change…
+1
I still love this tale. It gives the Overseers such depth and character, and that even with everything that they are (cold, corrupt, evasive, etc.), they're still human with human aspirations and emotions. Outside of any canon, this tale can stand on its own. It's incredible.
I'm confused about something. With Twelve's vote not counting, Eleven and Three abstaining, only 4 people vote yes before Thirteen (One, Two, Six, and Ten). So why was there a tie before Thirteen's vote.
I assume Eleven's vote went to yes, for the purpose of counting votes. It wasn't a negation per se…
Though clarification could help there, yes.
for the purpose of counting votes
IE, if it's not a negation, it'd be a yes.
I was translating this for the Chinese wiki and I just found that Nine voted both for and against the retirement. An oversight from the author?
I can't believe nobody mentioned that before. It was pretty much the first thing that I noticed when I read that part.
Unless there's something extremely weird going on with Nine that they could count as two people? Being the Overseers of the SCP Foundation, it's entirely possible.
