This is fun. Lynisha is an entertaining character, and there's lots of good/funny lines. +1'd
Ok, whoever did this deserves props from me for doing a better job with wunderwaffe than I did. I mean, mine is bigger, but performance is what matters. :P
Seriously, though, this is a fun story.
wwwwwwwwwwWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAH-!
Well done, Clef.
How can I object to a good kicking of Nazi ass?
if your reading this your gay
Upvoted for the charming Lynisha, upvoted for the notion of giant mecha playing "Boogie-Woogie Bugle Boy…", upvoted for the mention of Wittman (my grandfather engaged him in Normandy, so I'm a sucker for the mention), upvoted for the gorgeous pseudo-techy details that really made them come alive, upvoted for spectral Nazi superweapons…
But most of all upvoted for how much I want to give Guillermo Del Toro $500 million and say "THIS! DO THIS!"
EDIT: Actually, also for how much I wanna give Clef whatever a year's salary would be, and say "800 pages of this world, quick smart."
When I read this I thought for sure that it was by Djoric.
Nonetheless, it was charming.
… I just read a tale which is over the top and features an AMERICAN going through one of those WACKY NOT-QUITE-ZOMBIE NAZIS. Didn't hate it, but, admittedly, I'm still working on liking it. On the other hand, it's the second cool, well-done, over-the-top tale I read here that I didn't like in just a few months… I have to re-read this properly and examine my own feelings on both tales soon.
That, or I'm a stick in the mud. Chronically.1
Rule number one of combat: Infantry is the Queen of Battle.
Rule number two of combat: Artillery is the King of the Battlefield.
Rule number three of combat: Remember what the King does to the Queen.
Among other things, those three statements above just made my day… and the Nazi tank, and the comic-manga dichotomy.
