Behold, it is I, the great Reservio, currently reserving this space for an author post (my specialty)! BEHOLD as I stand in place of author commentary for over 8 hours!!

Thank you, Reservio, for standing in for me.

Now. This is the next installment in Dancing w/ Rachael (no duh). There was supposed to be a chapter between this one and the last one, but I realized that it did actually nothing for the story so I cut it and summarized it in the first section of the tale (where they were burning paperwork). This chapter is also a bit slow to give plot, but… that's partly because there was another section to this chapter. I cut it and pasted it into the beginning of next chapter, though, because the ending of that airplane scene was a perfect chapter-ender type scene. While this chapter didn't give us much plot, it did give us foreshadowing, and solidly switched our narrator over to Dorer (I swear that I will at some point write a tale series where the perspective doesn't change all the damn time, I have one in the works where that will be the case that I will start posting to the site after this one is done).

But yeah. That was this chapter. Had fun writing it. Sorry, but the next chapter is going to start with another LaFerrier interview — the third chapter in the series where that's a main component. I'm afraid it'll start to get tiring, but that'll be the last time it happens, and hopefully I make them different enough that they will be entertaining!

Also, got literally no critique on this one. Went baller for posting this.

How did he get knocked out? did he fall asleep, or did he manage to be KO punched (or some derivative) by Rachael?

On another note, i do love this series of yours. It just appears my attempts to comment and be active do not have the outcome i expect them to have.

How he got knocked out is a good question :)

But the answer might lie in Chapter 2, Waiting on the Good Times (or, for a shorter read, the very first chapter — if you use a little bit of inference)

And that was all the information i needed. I just happened to Forget Rachael wasn't exactly the most normal person on the block.

I love the title of this tale. Gosh, the deaths of the LaFerriers are always so creepy to me. And how casually they do it. But while it may be the main part of this tale, the airplane scene always stood out to me. You do a good job at picking out little details about the Foundation I really like— and the whole part with the mnestics in Adderal bottles and the Foundation making sure nobody sits next to their agents does not disappoint. It may be small, but I love it.

Also… Rachael shows her powers! After a while, I almost started to forget she even had them, heh. Dorer being so insistent was kind of creepy, though, if you take the context away. He has a point, but he was sounding like one of the NPCs from this game I saw a cutscene of once, We Happy Few. "Take your joy, Dr. Davidson!" All in all, I really enjoyed this tale especially.
