With all due respects, the content feels like a snuff fic. That said, it is well-presented and the overall story resonates well with the "The Foundation is a place where people could die anytime, no matter who they are" idea.

My primary qualm is that I don't necessarily buy those figures. They seem a bit high, at least for my headcanon.

It's fine otherwise.

Generally good. Though if it really had that level of attrition, the Foundation would collapse almost immediately. Experience would be impossible to maintain, morale would be nonexistent, personnel needs would balloon to unfulfillable proportions, and security would break down.

I don't feel like there's really enough here, thanks to the word limits of the challenge. I like the description of Iceberg's death, but otherwise I don't get much from this. No-vote.

I love the style and the tension seeping off this one. Although I'm not really familial with the characters mentioned, I really like the "straight-to-the-point" way used, with just enough smokiness to keep things in the dark.
