For those missing context, this tale draws on Dust and Blood, Beneath Two Trees, Adventures in Capitalism, and the ETDP canon.
If the page you are on "looks fine," it is most likely (but not certainly) because its theme is overriding the SCP Wiki's default Sigma-10 theme. If you were to then navigate to a Sigma-10 page, such as the Front Page, it would likely appear broken.
Alternatively, if you know for sure that Sigma-10 is loading, the error is most likely mistakenly appearing because you switched the Sigma-10 theme to a different theme using the ThemePreviewer module or another similar feature. If this is the case, and you are the author of the page, add the following code to it to remove the warning:
[[module css]]
#top-bar .ios-cache-issue-notification {
display: none !important;
}

For the sake of derps such as myself, what is ETDP? I looked under the canon hub, but it wasn't there, or at least not under that name.
It's the Et Tam Deum Petivi canon. Only one with those initials.
They were initials. I can't brain today. I have the dumb.
I don't remember seeing the little snippet boxes in the drafts, but they add a lot. +1
This is too eschatological for my headcanon, but headcanon ain't everything, yo. Upvoted with enthusiasm.
Could not have imagined a more fitting and touching end to the Djoricverse. Brilliant work.
Gentlemen, feast your eyes on Djoric's last Tale. Godspeed.
And if the whole world is crashing down… fall through space out of mind with me.
The end of the world and what comes after. If you've got questions, let me hear them.
The Djoricverse is a massive, complex world, and this Tale is chock full of references to it. I'll do my best to name and explain them all.
The Flood: refers to an ancient event in history where the biblical God purged Magic from the world. Think Noah's Ark but without literal rain.
Daevites: Referenced in SCP-140, a prehistoric race similar to humans, in servitude to the Scarlet King. Wiped out but used the Chronicle, a book infused with magic, to ensure they didn't die for good.
The Chronicle: SCP-140. Book used by Daevites. Held one of the seven seals that contained the Scarlet King.
The Flesh: Enemy of the Broken God, mentioned in SCP-2217 and other CotBG works
Pit of Megiddo: Referenced in Book of Revelation, area where Jesus would place Satan in for 1,000 years
Scarlet King: Referenced in SCP-231, a god born in the Abyss who started as some hideous worm thing and desired to spread its suffering to all other living things.
Leviathans: SCP-682s, but bigger and more resilient.
Hakhama: The Broken God, SCP-882. Wise sister to Nahash.
Nahash: Satan (whose image has been corrupted by storytelling; he's not the enemy of God or anything). Brother to Hakhama.
The Brothers Three: Referenced in SCP-1440, the three brothers of death.
Silent Halls: Where some of the dead go
Brides: Mentioned in SCP-231, the original brides (the ones in 231 are implied to simply be a small-scale reenactment of what really went down millions of years ago)
The Stars: SCP-1548 and SCP-1425 are examples. Stars are more ancient than most gods and very, very hate filled.
Library: Center of the Serpent's Hand
Ways: Extradimensional paths connecting certain areas
Yesod: the realm of Humanity
Sons of Adam: SCP-076 and SCP-073. The two were good friends until the former was abducted by Daevites and experimented upon.
36 Saints: Seen in Djoric-Dmatix Proposal, collection of 36 people who nullify anomalous activity in their vicinity. Can somehow weaken the Scarlet King.
The Bastard Empress: Last Empress of SCP-1483 before it was destroyed by the GOC
Harker: Not sure about this one… Djoric, have you written anything about them?
Exile: Again, not sure
A'habhat: Bride mentioned earlier
Fawn and Saturn Deer: Haven't done too much reading up about him, but I know he's a prophet of sorts. Found in Letters to a Prophet 1 and 2. Not to be confused with SCP-2845, the Deer from Saturn.
Isabel: The current Doctor Wondertainment. Her adventures are described in this series.
Mary-Ann/Salah/Naomi: Two members of the Horizon Initiative and their daughter. Tale can be found in this series. Recommend you read it, it's one of my favorite series on site.
And if the whole world is crashing down… fall through space out of mind with me.
The Exile is 1440, I believe.
Harker may be a shark puncher. http://www.scp-wiki.net/it-always-has-been-it-always-has-not-been
Wait, the GOC blew up the Antarctic Empire? Link?
I had planned to write that tale (this entire thing was a major series, once), but never got around to it. But, it's still accurate (Daevites, GOC, what's the difference? Spoilers: not much) - note how the Empress here is a bastard daughter (disabled, no less), but still considered the rightful heir.
Huh. Now that I think about it, that makes a disconcerting amount of sense. I still want to see that Tale.
I was expecting more from the end of all of the worlds.
The writing is good, and I enjoyed the lore bits well enough, but it was kind of disappointing. If this was a final piece to all of your work, I would have hoped that it would have been more than "A happy ending for an important character, interspersed with bits of Revelations."
No vote.
