Continuing from Close of Play,¹ here we have a tale about a half-imaginary creature! For those of you familiar with Oneiroi, he's from the same place, though not actually affiliated.

Big thanks to kaktus and TroyL for helping me patch this up. More thanks to ihp, Vince, Decibelle, theworstninja, Soulless, and probably a bunch of other people because I was really iffy on this.

EDIT: Massive (that's bigger than big) thanks to Randomini for making last line suitably snappy. Also probably other minor edits. But that last line tho

1. This actually takes place before the other tale, and you can see Misser Sticks and Tiffany in the background of Close of Play.

Hmmmmm, I wasn't really sure what I thought of this when I read it as a draft, but now that I read it again, I really like it. The relationship between Misser Sticks, the girl, and reality is interesting. Also, I quite like the portrayal of the UIU. +1

But this is really good. Very effective, lots of surprising imagery.
