Yeahhhhh, no, not buying this. As an SCP or as a contest entry.
As an SCP, it's little more than a memory sharing thing ending in Foundation incompetence and what is basically an expunge. Not a fan.
As a contest entry, I can't say this even qualifies. Chopping up the SCP into three tabs by just separating test logs in incredibly lazy and, so far as I can tell, completely ignores the reason for that limitation in the first place. So now each tab doesn't stand on its own, which they should.
Downvoted.
As an scp I do like it. By the sound of it it takes all points and makes a best fit line for what should happen.

Whether this is a standalone article or a contest entry, I can't support it.
It's not interesting. My first time reading through it, I couldn't even remember much about it, and there's nothing to keep it interesting throughout. It ends in a pretty frustrating way, with expungements that don't add, but detract from the article and I feel like whatever kind of narrative you were attempting to build (which I didn't see much of) failed. True, SCP-914 doesn't have much of a story either, but it's interesting and even outside of the test logs it's memorable.
Speaking about this as a contest entry: until I read the comments and saw what you said on IRC, I wasn't even aware this was a reimagination of SCP-914. The connection is tenuous, at best, and completely missable at worst. Even moreso, each tab has to stand on its own in order to hold its own as an entry. If one tab doesn't hold up on its own much, it's expected that the other two should. That being said, nothing except the first tab holds up much on its own. This isn't breaking rules as far as contest entries go, I'm sure, but I feel like it goes against the spirit of reimagining an skip in the first place and a quick way to fulfill requirements while not expanding much. You could have taken something uninteresting to make interesting and give it a story, but just fill it with test logs and make it boring as a result.

I really like the concept here, and would like to see it refined as a mainlist entry, however I am downvoting because I feel that the concept should have been expanded on and explored more, both in and out of the test logs. I also have a hard time seeing this as a reimagining of 914, the only similarities that I can see are "makes stuff" and "has extended test logs."
The conceit is that whereas 914 on its "rough" or "coarse" settings can be used to physically de-construct a tangible object (and also works in reverse after a fashion), 2914 can be used to physically de-construct a human memory (and also works in reverse after a fashion).
When I discussed this with others, I got reactions ranging from "it's too much of a re-hash of 914" to "it's nothing like 914" so I figure that the truth is arguably somewhere in between those extremes. Your mileage may vary.
Fair enough, still a -1. Like I said though, I do really like this idea.
Didn't get my upvote until the third log. That's a really fascinating way to go about testing an object. Though, like Mann's 076 thing, I have to question what the connection is here, and whether I even understand what this contest is supposed to be about.
This needs to be expanded before I can vote in its favor. You have a few interesting things here, but not enough to really make me dig it. What I really want to see is this becoming a semi-open test log like 914 itself is, because that would be pretty cool.
No vote, may upvote once this has some more meat on its bones.
if your reading this your gay
Not liking this as much as I didn't realize this was a reimagining contest entry and was getting the vibes of an anomalous item. Not really warranting an upvote, but I liked the concept of re/deconstructing memories so a neutral vote for now.
I don't see the connection to 914, at all, but this is a decent skip.
You get a neutral vote.
Also, This is the first time I see "RECORD REMOVED". Is this the new [DATA EXPUNGED]?
