So, 682, whether it's a happy yellow dinosaur, a pissed-off gator thing, or a Whale, is responsible for all life, and humanity may or may not have created 682. Close or no cigar?
I hadn't actually considered what forms 682 would take in other worlds, although I do imply that they're different.
What I imagined was that 682 started out the same in all timelines, and did the same thing in each one, which was go out there and make some life. I'm open to alternate explanations. Bingo on the humanity part!
This is great. Even if it wasn't a reimagining I would lift it up. The concept is great and the writing even better. +1.
Also, Temporal Site 000 is officially headcanon'd.
Not a new idea, but my theory is that "ours" is the Nega-Winslow!
In order to be 682, you must:
- Spread evil
- Have no code of ethics
- Kick the afflicted while they're down
- Eat the crops
- Eat the heathen
- Survive the lightning
- Eat the innocent
- Eat the moon
- Answer the phone before it rings, then eat the person calling you
- Be 682
Extratemporal Site 000 is the coolest location in the lore now. Also, 682 as the creator of everything is just a little absolutely terrifying. +1
Started out feeling a bit silly and didn't see how it would be going anywhere…
…then it started getting interesting, then it started getting deep, then it started getting mind-blowing, then it ended.
I haven't finished reading all the entries but currently I'm rooting for this one myself.
Here's an idea: what if this is 682, and the unkillable monster is just 732-corrupted fan fiction?
