Author Note

Hey guys. I decided to re-write SCP-2183 because it was bringing down my average rating I wasn't satisfied with its current state. This time, I opted for a focus on the roller coaster carts.

Thanks to AndarielHalo, TwistedGears, Decibelle, Cimmerian, Blue6D, JamJam66, Dr Leonard, and everyone else who looked at my draft.

It's rather peculiar, because the fact the roller coaster in the image is right by the road and is an old wooden track coaster reminds me of a real park that exists in Idaho.
Coincidence?

+1, not least for setting up a scenario that does not break my suspension of disbelief in which multiple guided missiles are fired on a rogue flying roller coaster cart. That is some very high-quality weirdness there.

+1 because I really really like this one. At first I thought it was similar to SCP-112, how the track disappeared and everything. It's very different, though, and I love the addendum. That really added a lot, I think.

Heh! I remember the older version of this one, where the mystery of the coaster was sidestepped in favor for some (IMO confusing) narrative regarding the engineer who was trying to contain it, but this is way better. Kudos on taking the cool bits and re-spinning 'em to something cooler!
