i don't like humes or SRAs, and people usually don't use them consistently anyways, so why not write something about why that is? scranton is a woman this time because I Do What I Want. you can see this as an alternate universe—it's definitely not canon with SCP-3001 or SCP-3326—but i like to imagine that every other scp that's contained with reality anchors or that measures humes is Just Bullshit.

Normally with articles that are essentially just shitting on an established piece of lore¹, I tend to get bored and downvote. However, the You Are Not Immune to Propaganda aspect was rather well done, so I'm perfectly fine upvoting this.

I really like how you removed the Foundation logo from the top of the page. That's what cinched the upvote for me.

This idea would actually be fairly easy to test in-universe though. You just get a non-sapient reality-bender that can't be infected by the meme and see if the Scranton Reality Anchor has any effect.

In my headcanon, this article is just deliberate disinformation.

Simple, clever, and important without being obnoxious about it. It's one of the best kinds of article. Removing the header logo (which I initially assumed was just a technical issue on my end) is icing on this very satisfying cake. The only thing that I wanted from the article was more, but I personally don't know how to expand on this any further than you already have.

This is a real fun interpretation of SRAs that stays interesting without solely being "screw SRAs," particularly with the idea that this can work for containment by just tricking reality benders into thinking they can't manipulate reality.

I gotta say, this one is incredible. you managed to overthrow my view of the SCP universe with a 2-minute read - the only others that have done that are big, novella-length SCP-001s. plus, there's a boatload of fridge brilliance. enjoy my +1.

I find the article too short! It seems like this would have major ramifications. I really like the idea but feel it's underdeveloped; neutral vote for now.
