THE ESSENCE OF TIME

In an alternate universe from the prime SCP Foundation universe, a Prometheus Labs doctor is at the end of his rope trying to find a way into the Multiverse. Given his final three tries, he'll do his best to reach his goal of unlocking its secrets. Will he find a way to unlock a gateway into the Multiverse, or will his fears get to him first?

Part 3 of 9 is up. Much Wisdom Is Much Grief sees the GOC call upon the Foundation to help them fight Nazis and stop the outbreak of another occult war; a strategic bombardment of Ontario is discussed; Lake Superior might be made out of lemon pudding.

The hub for the Florence Thorne series is up now, along along with a revelation of the series name: The Phoenix, The Nightingale, & The Magpies. To quote from the hub:

A series about surviving Minnesota, accidental arson, fighting fire with fire, unusual hiring procedures, the pudding secrets of Lake Superior, punching Nazis, angering geese, falling in love, cooking crabs, getting tattooed, disrupting a nuclear power plant, intentional arson, betrayal, loss, and starting over.

The hub, as with the rest of the series, features art by Crashington, who has kindly agreed to act as illustrator.

Individual Efficacy, Part 5 of 9 of The Phoenix, The Nightingale, & The Magpies, has been posted. This is the first of a trilogy that forms the Life Under the Lake arc, a series of shortish, interconnected vignettes detailing Florence's life at Site 246.

This first installment of the Lake arc is mostly about the aftermath of Operation MINNESOTA NICE and Florence coming to terms with her abilities.

The car is almost at his back wheel. It pulls to his right. James leans lower, willing the bike quicker. Somehow he knows the driver has experience, won't swerve until certain they will hit him. He angles the bike away to the left. For a second, the back wheel wobbles.
