The adventure continues.
Fun facts:
1) The songs sung by Momoko and Hana are, respectively, Lily the Pink by the Scaffold and Poutine by the Dreadnoughts. The former of which is the most wretchedly wonderful earworm I have heard in recent years.
2) The D&D segment actually happened in a game I DMed recently. It was hilarious. Rogues are squishy.

You speak about the status of Directors and their low birthrates, and yet you have nothing to say of the lowly D-Class and Agents. Did you know that the majority of D-Class don't survive past their first month of adulthood, rarely finding mates in that time? And Agents spend most of their time seeking medals, their primary source of sustenance. With the scarcity of medals, Agents almost never have time to reproduce. I've even heard that the Foundation has had to implement an artificial breeding program to keep these two parts of their ecosystem from going extinct. Surely, the Foundation is an ecosystem in danger of disappearing from this world forever.
Conservation efforts are often thwarted by the public, who donate only sporadically to these causes.
There's very little public knowledge of these sorts of issues, and the international community seems intent on covering it up. It's a shame, really.

Cannot tell if typo or new onomatopoeia. Overall, definitely more enjoyable than the last draft I read (which was already good); the daily log helps balance out some of the tone and it works better for me. My boat, she ups.

Based on my own gaming group's antics, am I correct in guessing the good hearted drow is the one that never happened?
Nope. The drow deliverywoman / bounty-board operator / overworked single mother is actually something of a recurring NPC character in my campaigns (I hate LOLEVUL drow, and so generally characterize them more reasonably).
The bumbling part was when she tried sneaking into the inn to warn the PCs about an assassination attempt on them, and then proceeded to not make a sneak check above 5 the entire time.

He might have being travelling up, or forward, but it felt down. He defined it as down, and so down it was.

Site directors are by nature reclusive creatures. They rarely interact with others of their kind, outside of the safe, controlled environments of monthly regional report commissions. When presented with their kin, they become skittish, as they are trained from birth to correlate the presence of other directors with imminent disaster.
This avoidance of others of the species has long concerned administrators the world over. As the creatures refuse to stay around each other long enough to reproduce, the species might go extinct within the next twenty years.
We need more Douglas Adams.
