The tools of an artist are just as valuable as the art itself.
This is… kind of an origin story for the Academy as a whole, I suppose. It's not necessarily the origin story (god knows the Italian wiki can disagree with me on this, they made up the GOI) but it's one I thought was neat and one that fits in with my story.
Learning about Renaissance art is fun! That's why I'm going to be including as many links to the Wikipedia pages of Renaissance artists and figures as I can in future tales in this contest.
