Hello! I wrote SCP-2993 and received advice. I have recently made a good amount of changes and edited it with suggested changes, re-works, and extensions!
Ottuz, when using an announcements thread, unless you're responding to a specific post, please use the "New Comment" button at the bottom of the page rather than replying to the first post. That way, your new post will be placed at the end of the thread, in correct chronological order.
Furthermore, since the article you're mentioning here is not a new article but has been edited after being on the site for a few days, the correct place to announce an update would be on the correspondingly-named Update Thread.

This monstrosity has the dishonour of being my very first SCP, so please go forth and place it under your scrutiny. I just saw on the Reddit API that this SCP number was previously used for something that has been deleted for being shit, so I hope this one is not (as) shit.

Also, if you're going to announce a new SCP here, please make a new comment instead of replying to the first post. That way, the posts will stack correctly, since most people look at the last page for new articles since that's where properly-announced new SCPs will be.
I've completed my first entry since… well, I can't recall when, but it's not around anymore, so it's a bit of a moot point. Anyway, reasonably proud of this one, and I hope you enjoy it. http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-2460

I would like to have this draft "Hello!" critiqued before I dish out any articles. I want to hear some opinions and such. I don't want to start out "Straight-up newbie who starts out like everybody else" I want to start out at a bit more respectable level.
