So, for Pulp Fiction, I turned to an SCP about the works of a Pulp Author that most of us can probably recognize. This is… also based off of an actual experience I had.
So, basically, while in London in September of last year, I was wandering around near Leicester square, when I walked into an occult bookstore— they called it an "esoteric" bookstore, but same difference. I was… not impressed in the slightest. For one: the ground floor was dedicated entirely to homeopathic treatments and tarot decks. Did you know that the fucking Beatles have a licensed Tarot deck? I do now. For two, in the basement of the shop, they were selling copies of the Necronomicon. There was no price tag on them. When I asked how much, they said it was fifty pounds, because it was a 'rare edition'. For a third, they had a variety of 'artifacts' that were clearly just cheap brass costume jewelry and shit you could find in the British Museum for a fraction of the price. It was all huckster garbage.
This is… technically part of S&C Plastics I guess? Montgomery Reynolds and Katherine Sinclair both appear, so…
Thanks to everyone who critted this, including Taffeta,
