I've gotten tired of the Serpent's Hand having their own one-word name for practically every group of Interest under the sun. More than that, it makes actually identifying them difficult. Imagine an SH member being told to "Watch out for the Deniers!" and then being told, "Oh, we mean SAPHIR". It's not even like how site users identify GOIs with acronyms, because the acronyms are at least tied to the GOI's real name.

Beyond that, this is yet another bloody setup article that seems to think the only way to introduce a Group of Interest into the main site is to write an article that exposits who they are in great detail. What makes it worse is that there's already an article that does that: SCP-3380, and it's more interesting because it isn't dedicated to explaining what the GOI is in great detail like a glorified hub introduction.

I get that complaint, and I used it because it appears to be a tradition for SH. That being said, their actual namesake is mentioned very nearly at the top to avoid confusion.

As for the setup premise, yup. That's exactly what it's intended to be. SCP-3880 completely escaped me during preparation for this article so that's entirely on me.

Minor note: That SCP was completely standalone before the SAPPHIRE cameo was added late into drafting.

I don't feel like there's a self-contained story being told here, or even a large portion of one. I get that it's the first part of a broader series, but there isn't enough in terms of setting up plot threads, characters, etc. for it to serve that role effectively. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to take away from this other than this group existing, and that alone isn't really enough to support an article.
