I might be reading it wrong, but this looks like a discrepancy in how the SCP works. Do they have to answer the call or not?

Also, love the article. Interesting concept that made me want to know more. And that note at the end, that hit really well. Changed my whole perspective on the thing. Well done!

And I thought 2140 was creepy. 3831 doesn't sit in a box until the Foundation pulls it out and presents it to a D-class or someone, it goes on the hunt!
