Hello! This is an alternate version of the Foundation where everyone and everything is cats.

This tale includes 4 images of cat-versions of SCPs, as well as micro-tales involving 5 cat SCPs.

I hope you all enjoy!

All 4 images are taken from Wikimedia commons, as public domain images:

I never thought I needed this until now but I want more.

Doctor North 13 Feb 2019 18:41

I don't even know where to start….maybe with a +1?

Doctor North was here. Just don't let South know, or East….never tell East.

Is the title a naruto reference?

MathBrush 17 Feb 2019 03:02

I thought of the phrase 'nine tails' because of Naruto. I realized that Naruto involved a fox and not a cat, but 'nine tails' also goes with 'nine lives', so I kept it.

So…yes.

Aww, kitties!

Author, the images in the tale total to over 1 MB, which can take awhile to load on mobile devices with limited data plans. Would you be willing to shrink them down a bit? If you'd like help with resizing the files, just let me know.

MathBrush 17 Feb 2019 17:57

I got them cut in about half just now, but I can't go further with the online tools I found. Feel free to shrink them as much as you're able to!

I can definitely shrink these down further, but not as much if you really want to keep them all at 600px wide. Are you willing to shrink that, or do you want to keep that minimum?

MathBrush 18 Feb 2019 08:22

I’m more concerned about accessibility for readers than anything else, so I’d be happy for you to do whatever you need to to bring the whole thing down to a manageable level. Thanks so much!

Zyn 18 Feb 2019 09:00

Resized! Images are now at 300px wide (standard for the general SCP article format) and the filesize total for the bunch is less than half of the previous. Should load near-instantly on mobile devices, I believe.

Thanks, Zyn, it looks great!
