Humanoid crystalline entities spawn from a hole in a pond. The journey makes them weak, as the wormhole soaks up most of their energy. The energy provides stability within the wormhole in order to ensure a safe trip. Before they jump into the wormhole, they take a small supply of supplements that give them the energy they need to survive. They're an alien race that take a voyages to distant parts of the universe using a wormhole gate on their world. According to the pilgrims, this voyage is suppose to be spiritual; the individual should make piece on the "other side.". They often attempt to escape containment as they feel the need to inform their society of the world we live in. That society will never know what truly lies at the other end.
Many of the humanoids manifest with misc. items such as a book, stone, and each one has come with at least a single supplement (very efficient drug for their society).
