Item #: SCP-001
Object Class: Uncontained
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-001 appears to exist everywhere aside from Adaptive Observation Chamber C of Site-15. The sole inhabitant of this chamber, Dr. Arthur Silas (self), is currently tasked with containing SCP-001, somehow.
Due to the adaptive mesh which lines this chamber, the space within is currently the only space where reality behaves as it did prior to SCP-001.
Thus, the adaptive mesh must not be perforated at any time.
Description: SCP-001 is a CK-Class Reality Restructuring event that occured on 08/14/1996 at 0310 PST. That was yesterday, aka Day Zero.
The exact details of SCP-001 are unknown; immediately following the event, a Broken Masquerade was triggered, leading to a complete abandonment of Foundation operations as they were previously understood.
I am the only one who remains fully myself, having been inside the Adaptive Chamber at the time of the event. This is my cross to bear for staying late.
Everyone else has been changed. They have become twisted amalgamations of their previous selves mixed with the inhabitants of another reality. The world outside no longer follows the rules that once made sense. I am alone, and this room is the final place where reality is truly real.
I am Dr. Arthur Silas, last of the old world, and today is Day One.
