Video Transcript:
Fractal is the last SCP-9000 entry I’ll be covering this time around. It is absolutely crazy. It’s about the origins of the Berryman-Langford “Kill Agents” or memetic hazards. It’s that weird fractal image that shows up on the SCP-001 page. We get to learn who Berryman and Langford are. Dr. Berryman is biologist who is very confident and strong willed. Dr. Langford is a computer scientist who is nervous, and wants to do good. This article has a fairly slow build up–it’s never boring–but it gets really, really crazy.

For this, I’m draw a flower that Dr. Berryman keeps in her hair when the two of them first meet and Langford is going to join the team to start trying to improve the cognito-hazardous images. It’s a carrot flower or “Queen Anne’s Lace.”

These flowers grow in a fractal pattern, hence why Berryman likes them so much. I do have to confess that I hate fractals. My sister used to make fractal programs on her computer and she’d have me look through them with her to try and find stuff. They're cool, don’t get me wrong, but they do make my head hurt.

Which, I’ve always wondered, was maybe the reason why they were chosen way back when to represent a kill agent. I doubt I’m the only person who is prone to ocular migraines from the bright colors and weird shapes. That seems like it could have been the original reason WHY. Not at all what this article is about though.

I hope you liked this drawing. That is… the final one I’m going to be posting this time around. At least as far as 9kcon stickers goes. So, go ahead and read this article. There’s still two more days to read as many articles as you can. So… do that!
