Who's Julieta? Who was she?
A girl unsure of who she'd be.
Just desiring to be free.
A lass unhappy of where she'd been.

Sought a home, where to belong.
Found a place of stories told.
Started anew from down below.
An agent, yes, but could be more.

Ideas galore, backed up by pride.
She thus began, this was her stride.
So on and on she would just write.
She did believe this was her life.

On her home, ignored she thought.
And a name, for that she fought.
Aspirations loudly spoke.
Yet sorely found she was alone.

For in the chase of others' praise.
She poured her heart.
She gave her mind.
But the turn of tides left her behind.

Laughter reigned without a doubt.
No more sense of what was taught.
Of mischief they were devout.
Couldn't help but feel distraught.

Actions changed, conducts too.
It wasn't "what" but rather "whom".
And as fate its grace withdrew.
Left her stranded without a clue.

She has vanished.
Nothing lost.
A soul tarnished?
Nothing more.
Flame extinguished?
Hardly so.
She is long gone.
She's home now.
