The as yet unidentified group represented by The Questioner has a history of sabotage and attempted hostile takeover with The Factory. This stems from what appears to be a difference of opinion on resource management. On November 13, 2001 this unidentified group began a series of sabotages against Factory assets at the Fort Cass location.
DESCRIPTION:
Evidence of sabotage was detected within the Factory location. After a period of escalated conflict, The Questioner appeared within the Factory. After a series of negotiations, it was determined that the potential cost of retaining the Fort Cass location was higher than the profits to be made.
TRIGGER:
Upon the appearance of The Questioner, The Board of Directors dispatched The Investor to conduct emergency negotiations.
ORDER OF EVENTS
Actor Action Factory Response
The Questioner was last observed near the base of the Nyssa sylvatica instance at the center of The Factory. The Investor enters the Factory alone as any misstep or misspoken word could result in a breakdown of negotiation.
The Questioner does not leave their position at the base of the Nyssa sylvatica as basic etiquette would generally dictate. In fact, The Questioner does not acknowledge the presence of The Investor. The Investor had been appropriately briefed before leaving for negotiation and shows no reaction to The Questioner's rude behavior. As well, The Investor restrains himself from conducting any typically suitable greeting.4
The Investor carefully travels the structurally unsound floor of Primary Production Level 1.
Upon his arrival, The Investor makes great efforts to neither observe nor acknowledge The Questioner. While carefully studying a section of exposed rebar, The Investor speaks.5
The Questioner moves closer to The Investor, washing the area in the scent of moss and damp earth.6 The Investor tenses, but does not move away. He bends to examine a fleck of fallen rust upon the root of the Nyssa sylvatica.7
The Questioner turns and descends through a gap in the broken floor.8 The broken floor had formed a basin that was filled with clean, pure water. The Investor produces a copy of a contract establishing terms of a cease of hostility between all present parties.9
The Questioner takes the contract and carelessly drops it into the basin of water.10 The Investor moves suddenly to seize The Questioner before finding his movement impaired.11
The Investor is compelled to descend into the basin of water.12 As his feet enter the water, he makes eye contact with his reflection and sinks slowly into the water.13
The Questioner turns away and disappears from the Factory.14
RESULTS/FOLLOW UP
A retrieval team was sent into The Factory after a period of 24 hours, 47 minutes, 12 second with no contact from The Investor. The Investor was found seated upon a slab of fallen concrete and was escorted away from The Factory.15
