If you're able to distribute some documents in you library, school, or other public place, let us know. Give us the where, when, and what documents have been leaked to the public.
SCP-008. I printed a few copies, and I've added two pictures, the diagram thing and a rather discomforting picture of a corpse (Thanks, Rotten.com!) in glossy paper. I've also made a handwritten note implying that the Philippines had already been "infected" since the 1920's. Dropped one in a Starbucks, and in the science fiction section of a bookstore. I tried to drop one in the main building of Camp Crame, the Headquarters of the Philippine National Police or PNP, but I got too scared so I just placed it in my friend's house, whose dad is the head of criminal investigations in the Philippines. And before you ask, yes, it's easy to go inside one of the most heavily guarded places in the city.
I put out a whole bunch of documents to my school, to all my class, it has 4 of my SCP's plus all the classics, and was printed in full color. If you see an Agent Hyde on the site, I recruited him, so say hello.
I went around my neighborhood and placed crinkled SCP PDF copies of SCP 173, 002, and 008
I also taped these two notices to a few lamp posts.

MAN IT'D BE SO COOL IF I ACTUALLY READ THE THREAD ONCE IN AWHILE AMIRITE
Anyway, I'm glad to hear people are still doing this.
Holy crap, where did you get those? Those are some amazing pictures, my friend. I need to know who made those.
Just out of curiosity, where does that QR code lead, and what does the phone number lead to?
The QR codes lead here.
Call the number and find out.
For those of us who don't live in the USA and don't want to rack up an international phone bill, can you just… you know… tell us?
Ugh. Sorry if I'm necroing this, but the file won't play for me. Does it work for anyone else?
*silence, followed by additional phone ringing; message doesn't actually start until about 3/4 of the way through the clip*
"You have reached the SCP Foundation, Southern California, Division 19. Please leave a message including date and time of incident, location of incident, and a description of the incident itself. Thank you."
*beep*
I never saw you replied! I don't remember where I got them. I think someone was doing a photo shoot and used them.
Looks like someone found one of your copies: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EY93tOVi6iI
I put him right. Probably should've said, "We'll find you," instead, but he seemed kind of freaked out.
Kind of necro, but I have to ask: we have a phone number?
The site itself does not have an official phone number, though some members have used their own phone numbers as "Foundation hotlines" or the like. Staff doesn't encourage this, especially if callers end up freaked out.
Somehow I missed that video. He obviously lives in my town, as that is one of the stickers I personally put up. I'm glad he called the hotline. I sent a text back to him, but never got a reply. I should try again. I've pretty much had to stop with the actual calls to people, as I have very little time at work to make the calls (just a half-hour for lunch, and I'm usually doing paperwork) and I get home too late to call most evenings. I really need to do a follow-up on this person…
If I had a printer I would print these out and get to school early to put them on the door. I know some people who I have convinced that SCP is real, and their reactions would be priceless.
Edit: Mod please delete.
Is it ok if I print out some of those and put them in places?
I wish I could see, but I get an error. Guess since its so old its gone forever :(
Currently writing up one for SCP-173, going to leave it in the reference section of Waterfield Library at Murray State University
SCP-005, SCP-008, SCP-076, SCP-115, SCP-067, SCP-100, and SCP-204 have been reproduced to look grainy/photocopied, and paperclipped individually to various (frequently accessed) government documents in Western Michigan University's campus library.
I have already overheard whispers amongst the library staff. They are rather disconcerted, and quite unnerved by the subsequent appearance of these documents in their online library as well.
The Foundation has many friends in many places.
I seriously just want to walk through a crowded mall, pass one of these babies off to someone, and keep moving like i was being followed. It would be better if i had a lab coat.
[Achievement Unlocked] Knows too much.
This would be amusing, but I think the possibility of causing a panic is high doing this idea. However, that also depends on the type of person that gets the document as well. Some will throw it away, some will spread it.
Do it XD but select your target wisely. Try and go for paranoid/disheveled dudes walking by themselves for maximum effect.
Dude, would you stop replying to stuff almost a year old?
I wasn't paying attention to the dates at first, but why do you care? Just ignore them.
Because that's thread necroing, which is frowned upon. I'm not a mod, naturally, so what I'm saying doesn't have all that much weight, but do keep that in mind.
Also, where's the sense in it? None of these people are going to see your replies. Half of them aren't even active anymore. You might as well be scribbling something on a paper copy and hope for the author to get back to you.
Oh I must've missed that one in the guidelines. But like I said, I wasn't paying attention to the dates in the first place or I wouldn't have replied. Now that I know they're old, I'm not replying to them, so everything's going to be ok.
Oh. Accidentally did that, sorry.
Needs more professional looking documents for printan.
I think we need a website. Something professional looking with nothing creepy about it to put at the bottom of the page so we can give the backstory of the organization subtly.
Like a subsidiary site to make this org look legit? I think that *could* be a good idea, because rumors and urban legends spread like cazy online of course. We'd have to make pains to make it sound official and not-very interesting, like any govt. or official web page. Just leave a little hint of something "off" and secretive to pique peoples' interest.
I think a site encouraging the public to report bizarre findings/paranormal experiences under an obviously-fake, thinly veiled pretext would be perfect.
The post you're replying to is dated October 2008! Check the dates on posts before replying - you're necroposting.
Many of the people on this site say that if you have something useful to contribute, you can necropost.
Whipped this up in GIMP using the PDF in the other thread as a template
How's it look
Needs the picture put in the corner somewhere.
A note: the font I used is Chunk Type
If you're looking for a good typewriter-style font, you can pretty much just type that into Google and find a million free download links for it
hows this?
its a scan of the document i created, printed onto aged thick a4 paper
Edited for collapsibility. —Photosynthetic
Scenyx, images aren't allowed in the forums unless they're hidden in a collapsible block. You need to stop posting bare images. When I edited your previous post in this thread, I put in a link to the directions for using collapsibles: please read them and use them.

Another good place to seed documents: you know those free newspaper stands that normally advertise things like homes and "massage parlors"? Put a couple docs in a manila envelope in one of them, with a post-it attached that says, "Leave the money in the usual place." :)
I am on my way to do that tommorow. I got a few keys at home that don't open anything so it might be cool to put one of those in there and have something like "This will get you in" written on it
Using Arcibis' template I made up SCP-323. Good/bad?
I like it. Also the emblem and logo is a nice. The confidential at the bottom looks a little too sharp to fit in with the rest of the document, but it may just be me.
Untilted the picture, I have no preference either way, but if you guys say it looks better untilted I'll go with that. Also desharpened the CONFIDENTIAL and the logo a little. Think it does look better, so it's done!
Being dropped in Joplin, Missouri's Mall tomorrow
Just printed out both of the above (323 & 144) on different printers on my workplace (in Helsinki, Finland) and left them in the document trays for the next lucky user to discover.
