Long, long overdue, and it's probably not worth me responding, but putting this out there for anyone who stumbles across the discussion and wonders what the hell happened:
Back in 2009, a tvtropes user by the name of Goggle Fox posted in a forum thread about this SCP and how they disliked it. They thought that the Foundation should have killed it by now, and came up with an explanation as to how they would go about doing so.
Unfortunately, the idea centred around a blatant self-insert of Goggle Fox, who was both a senior researcher, an SCP (who was given everything she wanted) and a kitsune (not a kumiho), effortlessly overpowering and killing SCP-953 in some sort of magical duel. It was all terrible, and the character Goggle Fox proposed would have been decommissioned faster than you can blink if it was posted on the main list.
Clef and Bright had caught wind of this, and logged on to tvtropes to set the record straight: Clef to explain his thought process in the design of his version of SCP-953, and Bright to explain why this was a terrible, terrible idea. Goggle Fox got all angry and defensive, and claimed that that they were lying about who they were. As a result, Clef and Bright made the above comments in the discussion here to prove their credentials. This led to a couple of other senior staff here heading over to tvtropes for a quick bit of discussion with the users there, including Gears. I can't remember what exactly Tzetze had to do with this other than being another tvtropes user, but the thread has been lost to the depths of time.
