So an idea I have is a piano scip that when a key is played it will play a sound from any time and any where. The piano can play sounds from alternate realities and universes. When a key is played it will disappear and a new key will appear. If it is not pressed a new key will appear without having one been pressed. All sounds for one key will correlate with that note: If I press G# at Oct. 3 a sound from the universe at some time or somewhere will have the frequency and dB. as that note. Approx. keys: 3,771,998,300.

Why will it play a sound like that? Is there some sort of anomalous material or something that make the keys sound like that?

When a key is played it will disappear and a new key will appear.

Why will it disappear? What causes it to? Where does it go? There is no major reason for the key to disappear once it has been played. I feel that it does not have a purpose in order to develop the SCP and make it feel unique, only there to give it complexity (which in some cases is a bad thing).

If it is not pressed a new key will appear without having one been pressed.

So the piano's keys just swap with other keys that appear out of nowhere even if a key isn't pressed? What's the point of the piano having an urge to swap its keys out no matter the circumstances? Does it have a fear of surface grime accumulated over time from dust settling down on it from the air (thus causing it to change its keys)? If so, is the fear of the grime left by fingerprints is what urges it to replenish a key after it's been pressed? You should either expand on this idea (making more sense out of it) in order to make the reader want to know more. Or drop this key thing entirely and focus on something else to fill the gap.

Elaborate. What do you mean by this? Does the piano have that many keys to swap out with other keys if they were pressed? If so, how does the Foundation know about this?

Over all, the idea needs some work. The core idea of a piano playing random sounds when a key is pressed is in itself bland. With some work you can make this into something that works. Think about the SCP's past. Where was it found? Are there any historical records of some great musician back in the day writing about this off-sounding piano? Who made it? Who's property was it? These are examples of the many questions you can ask in order to develop this SCP into something that will grab the reader and not let them go until they've finished reading it to the last letter. In short, the idea needs work.

So, I abandoned the idea of adding more keys but instead I want it to keep a fixed amount of keys. I loved the idea of it disliking being dirty.

Now, to add mystery I will include some kind of log and include the creator in the Description or something and redact the info.

Now it's not off-sounding, it's like a piano that can play the sound of a… I don't know, a star exploding, the creation of a black hole, a sheep. But Zyn already told me that random skips don't make it in the long run. So if you have any other kind of ways to make this interesting, contact me.
