The tabview at the bottom appears to have just been copied from the ETDP Hub, with some of the content pertaining not to the Horizon Initiative but that Canon (specifically, the last two tabs).
I'd really want to see more original content on a Hub page, beyond the introduction at the top. Most notably, the list of GoIs is rather outdated. What, for example, does the Initiative think of Anderson Robotics? (It can't be good, considering AR uses the remnants of souls to make their "AIs".)
-1 until some more content is added. At the very least, a writing guide for the GOI-format is in order.
Edit: Some content has been added. It's not enough, and 90% of what's in those tabs is still C+Ved. The description of how to write a GoI format is not helpful and even misleading/wrong. My downvote stands.
Edit 2: You know what, I'm actually kinda bothered by this. Stuff that's wrong with this hub:
- A lot of the important information concerning the group of interest is relegated to a collapsible at the bottom of the page, for no real apparent reason. I don't see what the use in hiding/obscuring the majority of a page's information is.
- Obviously, I'm very unhappy at how little work went into those information of those tabs. There's nothing that expands on the information of ETDP with regards to the corps or the religious affiliation of the Initiative - both of which are things that can/should be done.
- The changes made to the Relations tab were half-assed in response to my crit. More on this:
- There are still missing GoIs. I've counted four that are currently missing.
- AWCY got removed entirely!
- The Open Combat section abruptly cuts off midsentence!
- You took my comment about Anderson Robotics and shoved it, also saying it reflected Prometheus Labs, despite the soul/robot thing being a rather distinctly Anderson idea! There are many other reasons why they might not like Prometheus! Like, for example, the blatant attitude of divine hubris!
- The first bullet point in the theme tab is still a comment about the world of Et Tam Deum Petivi, and hardly appropriate for a GoI that can exist outside of that canon.
- The GoI format tab is both wrong and misleading.
- It continues from there with each sentence marked by a superscript. This is wrong. The superscripts denote verse numbers, which do not correspond to sentences. Verses often line up with sentences, but a sentence can break following a comma, colon or before the beginning of speech.
- You also fail to discuss the importance of Chapter number found at the beginning of a paragraph in a HI format.
- Generally, HI formats will tell a story of a preacher or religious figure and their travels, interacting with followers of other religions in the Foundationverse. This is not just false (there are HI formats that do not follow that model), it's also rather misleading to describe HI formats as such. The format is religious texts, and that's how you should describe them.
- To elaborate: it's possible to describe the Bible through this lense, but it's clearly an incredibly poor description.
Edit 3: Some changes were made to this while I was writing Edit 2.
