I get that it's part of the format screw, but having to highlight the whole page is a pain in the ass, especially since white text is painful on my eyes. I can't upvote an article that quite literally hurts to read.
The article isn't actually supposed to be highlighted, fwiw. Each tab is an extant SCP in the mainlist. What is visible on the page is what's meant to be read.
That being said, it is still a pain in the ass to parse. I would very much like an abridged version, even in the forum here, that excises all the blanks.
My instinct is to downvote due to readability, but at the same time, reading through this with all the breaks creates a very odd and unsettling effect that made it suprisingly enjoyable.
Yeah, this threw me off - I would have instantly downvoted for having a totally unreadable article until I realised it was irrelevant. It's not very elegant to have masses of stuff on a page which isn't supposed to be read, though, and will inevitably throw people off.
I remember this being posted when it was all blackboxes, and at least this is better. Even without the text, though, it's still a slog to get through, and I didn't really enjoy the story fully, although it seems interesting. Perhaps replace the text with blank space or white blackboxes?

I'm going to upvote this actually, I'm not sure if I like it, but the novelty of constructing something out of the words of all your other SCPs and the stupid amount of effort involved deserves something.
Tentatively upvoted due to the originality of a skip made entirely out of other skips. I was sorely tempted to downvote because I can’t actually figure out what it is.
I love the concept, but i also feel like what is going on here is too obscured. +1 because I'm just assuming that I'm an idiot, and I love the execution, it is actually really clever.
Anyone wanna help me figure out what's going on?
As far as I can gather, in-universe it's supposed to be some kind of really filtered information due to a (memetic?) threat. I gotta admit, it's kinda clever, but 'you need a high IQ' to really decipher it quickly. I suspect most people would just give up and go to this section to have it explained.
Tyrfing is a sword in Norse mythology. Don't really see how that relates to the skip though. Also, there is an instance of Tyrfing not being hidden in the 9th entry of the test log. Considering that the word is hidden in every other instance, I don't know if this was intentional or a mistake. Also, the text in the caption is not "fully" hidden.
As mentioned above, with the exception of the 5th, every other tab is an SCP on the site, so you can read them elsewhere. Originally, I thought that the viewable text was just to give an abridged summary of each article; but I now see that that's not always the case.
Actually, the fifth tab is also about an existing skip, namely SCP-3294. I had to google "Tyrfing" to find it… and realized that obscuring the SCP's number is actually due to the original article doing the same!
All of the six skips mentioned have numerical designations that are variant combinations of the digits "4", "2", "9" and "3", i.e. the ones that make up this article's number.
