The site has cataloged several SCPs so far which have been stolen or reobtained by other factions, such as MC&D or the IRG. However, as we know these groups possess many additional anomalous artifacts which the SCP Foundation may never have acquired, I see a niche for dossiers on these items in the form of comprehensive containment plans predicted to secure them if the Foundation eventually succeeds in their acquisition, before they can be studied and a more efficient containment protocol may be devised.
Possible examples are MC&D's "glass card" maker (evidenced by the cards themselves on members' persons), a Factory device to power and guide manufacturing equipment (evidenced by absent cores in otherwise un-anomalous abandoned equipment), clockwork weapons seen in use by high-ranking Broken God cultists, etc. These items' files would mainly be categorized by theoretical containment protocols, key recognition factors for field agent use, possible locations and owners, and the incident reports which led the Foundation to assume the existence of the item. Much data, necessarily, would be unknown or expunged.
Is this a good idea?
